At times I feel like the movie character Forest Gump - on the periphery of historical events; at the far edge of an old photo of something political or cultural that happened long ago. I exited my teen years in the mid-60s and finished law school in the early '70s, but survived those hectic times, unlike too many others of my acquaintance. My Libertarian political and religious beliefs helped me along the way. I am politically unimportant and have hardly ever voted for the "winning candidate" and have certainly not helped anyone run their governments. I've always been out on the edge somewhere culturally. Thus I must be considered irrelevant. Here is the political and cultural memoir of an irrelevant person.
