Born in New Britain, Connecticut, Linda now lives in Corvallis, Oregon. She has also lived in Washington, Virginia, Maryland, Massachusetts and Arizona. She has traveled to Europe, but for over 50 years calls Oregon home. Linda is a retired teacher of creative writing in workshops and at a local community college. She was an editor at Calyx Books for over 30 years and served as president of the Oregon Poetry Association. She is currently president of PEN Women in Portland. She belongs to several poetry and writer's critique groups and is part of Writing the Wrongs to Rights Huddle. She is an avid cooperative and competitive Scrabble player. Linda appreciates plays, poetry readings, science and arts. She lives among over 3000 angels and seasonal miniatures with her husband Court. She likes to escape quarantine in her backyard, to gather chi.
