The Sea

Danish cartoonist Rikke Villadsen makes her English language debut with this playfully creepy and oddly beautiful seafaring tale. When a shocked fisherman pulls up his net to find a newborn baby and a talking fish, the unlikely shipmates embark on a journey filled with madness that doesn’t just bubble beneath the surface of the water but drenches the sailor - and the reader - like a tidal wave.
