It was a snowy, cold, and busy evening in the North Pole. I was
walking around Santa’s toy factory smelling everything while looking
for any sign of fire. My job as a black-and-white spotted Dalmatian
fire dog was to find fires in any size building, large or small, on Santa’s
vast property.
The land that Santa’s toy factory sat on was four mountains square
and snow covered. Large green-and-red windmills spun madly on its steep
mountain peaks making electricity for the whole North Pole village to enjoy.
Santa’s house looked like an old English farmhouse with walls made
of large gray stones two foot thick. Five beautiful hand-carved ivory
pillars held up the strong slate-covered front porch roof. Santa’s house
was stone while the other buildings on the property were made of straw,
mud, and snow.
