This is a short book on the commentary of a ballad written by Bhai Gurdas Singh Ji. In this short book I will also try to give a historical perspective of who the writer of the ballad was and its significance to the Sikh faith today. This ballad is usually found in commentaries of Bhai Gurdas Ji's works and written up as the 41st ballad however, Bhai Gurdas Ji and Bhai Gurdas Singh Ji are different individuals who lived at least 125 years apart. In this small book, you will find the commentary of the ballad with all twenty-eight pauris written under the name of Bhai Gurdas Singh. The commentary is taken from the 'Bhai Gurdas Dian Varan' commentary by Pandit Giani Narain Singh (Mujanga wale). This volume comprises of the knowledge found within the original Nirmala commentary.
