The full-length Queen Elizabeth shows Elizabeth’s attempt in her waning years to groom the Earl of Essex to succeed her, only to have him lead a rebellion that led to his execution; the play includes townspeople and a troupe of actors with Richard Burbage and William Shakespeare.
