This book details the main character's (Aaron) journey through graduate school and highlights some of the challenges and struggles he must persevere through while working to complete his master's degree and find a job. Through a series of letters exchanged between Aaron and his mentor (Isaiah) they discuss Aaron's decision making, his relationship with his girlfriend (Izabelle), the birth of their daughter (Grace), coaching college basketball, and other trials and tribulations Aaron encounters while focusing on his future and evolving into the person and professional he wants to become.
