The main character in this book, Little Wanda Ann, is actually, my exwife! I wanted to write a children's book and was looking for a character to build the book around and remembered this cute picture of her, when she was two years old, outside her house eating a cookie and voila, Little Wanda Ann was born! The major point in this book is that Little Wanda Ann learns about food, hunger and sharing at a very young age and that lesson becomes a focal point in the various stages of her life.
