It was technology not magic or brute strength that won the Great War. Humanity prevailed and sequestered the orcs into a single city while the elves were scattered and forced into squalor. However, for a new generation of nobles this is not enough. The very fact that orcs exist is a threat and thus must be extinguished. Old hatreds bubble to the surface and a kingdom once at peace finds itself on the precipice of a new war.
