The apostle Paul affirms that all things work for good for those who love God. In His providence, God ordains all things. Spurgeon distinguishes between fate and providence. Fate says "whaterver is, must be." Providence says, Whatever God ordains, must be." Providence enables believers to trace God's hand by faith; fate is man's solution to chaos and catastrophe in human events. This book is intendended as a devotional for the reader to reflect on and inwardly digest.
