Back in 1981, a teacher's husband decided to go back to school to become an attorney. He moved his little family from the small town of Cherryville, North Carolina to Macon, Georgia so that he could attend Mercer Law School. Husband and wife embarked on an adventure where they made lifelong friends and had numerous mischievous adventures while being far away from home and the life they knew before. They were in culture shock but enjoyed the wild ride. It is the story of love, friendship, perseverance and joy.
