I started writing poems in prison for me and my buddies. Writing poems for our moms, wives, and girlfriends. I spent some time writing song lyrics but always came back to faith-based poetry. Two years ago, I was looking to start dating through a dating website and told myself I was going to let God send me someone. That someone is the reason for what I thought was just a hobby turned into me being a published poet. I owe this book to my fiancee, Greta Harman, who had faith in me and my writings and who reached out to Page Publishing who also thought my writings were publishable.
