Many churches are scrambling to meet the needs of increasingly confused and discouraged congregations. Believers who were already isolated and lonely find that being a follower of Jesus is even more difficult than ever.
We are all on a journey to become the person God created us to be. If we journey together for a while, we will each benefit by growing closer to God, ourselves, and each other. The design of this book is unique in that it will challenge readers to examine their own lives while I will share parts of mine. The language I have chosen to use is relatively easy to read, and I have done my best to use words that make sense inside and outside of church.
The content of this workbook is separated into three themes: Walking with God, walking with yourself, and walking with others. There is a total of nine strategies attached to these themes. Each of these strategies are presented in a way that is intended to be both thought-provoking and practical. It is my intent that the basic nature of the content presented in each of these strategies act as a springboard for further conversation and reflection. Strategies related to walking with God are the first ones we will look at because they provide the foundation, and the courage, to master the others.
If you are determined to be a follower of Jesus in an increasingly unpredictable world, or someone who is called to walk with others while they find their way, then this workbook is for you.
