They say it’s better to fail in love than to never fall in love. The author is a true Cancerian, with an insatiable appetite for love, who has failed twice but is relentless in his quest for a lifetime partner in laziness and craziness. These poems delve into the journey that started with him going down on his knees on a hot June evening to a cold breakup on a warm March night. Musings over Malt is an attempt to come to terms with what could have been but thankfully wasn’t. It’s also a promise to fall in love and give happiness another shot! These poems are straight from the heart and, at times, needed a nudge from glasses of single malt to ensure only the purest and most heartfelt emotions were captured for the readers. The photos–all clicked by yours truly–are a window to what the heart was visualizing at that juncture. P.S. This book is best enjoyed with Chris Isaac’s Wicked Game and John Legend’s All Of Me playing on loop with single malt on the rocks for company.
