Comparative syntax is a syntactic construction in general linguistics that helps to express a comparison, in quality or degree, between two or more entities or groups of entities. It is the comparative study of the similarities and dissimilarities between the combinatorial systems of languages. Comparative syntax snalysis is complex due to the interaction of various mechanisms.
