Knockturn County

Knockturn County is an adult crime noir set in a classic children’s book universe told through rhyming narrative – as if Dr. Seuss took a few swigs of whimsical whiskey and ran amok through Sin City. Written by James E. Roche and illustrated by Axur Eneas. The lives of a cop, a young girl, a dame, a gambler, and a kingpin, all converge and collide in this county built on crime. As they each slide deeper into a corrupt underworld littered with death, drugs, booze, and betrayal, one thing becomes clear… Good doesn’t always win, bad doesn’t always pay, and, in true crime noir fashion, people always die!
