This book contains abstracts of wills, letters of administration, bonds of administrators, renunciations, and inventories from 1663 to 1766, 1792, and 1827, many of which were translated from Dutch originals. Each abstract gives the name of the testator, the date of the will, the names of all persons mentioned in the will with their relationship to the testator, and the date the will was proved. The reader will discover that the author has included genealogical notes on the testator extending forward, in most cases, for two generations while giving sources. The Full name index mentions approximately 3,500 persons within.
