The Veil

A turbulent childhood has left Aarav Patel scarred and alone, walking on the edge of life and death. Because of this, his military career is flourishing, but in the wake of the last global war, he's questioning the integrity of the powers that govern his steps.

As a mysterious series of portals open up around the globe, Aarav finds himself on a rushed mission to acquire intel about the other side. Through the portal is a land similar to home, albeit blanketed by a phenomenon called "The Veil"-a tearing apart of reality that is a source of both peril and intrigue to him and his colleagues. Danger, wonder, and revelation await humans in the world of Tvestra, but as the mission progresses, Aarav discovers that this strange world could have major implications for the people back home: despite the dangers therein, this place could turn out to be Earth's salvation.
