  • Filmed Adaptation: The Fever was adapted into a 2004 film by Shawn and director Carlo Gabriel Nero. The unnamed role played by Shawn in the original production was played in the film by Vanessa Redgrave.

  • TV and Film:Shawn's many film and TV appearances include My Dinner with Andre (which he co-wrote with Andre Gregory), A Master Builder (which he adapted from Ibsen's play), The Princess Bride, Clueless, Gossip Girl, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Young Sheldon.
