A Fate in the Woods

With her life in turmoil, Jess is navigating her junior year of high school. After her mother loses her battle to cancer and throughout her father's losing battle with depression, she meets "the homeless kid" who lives in the woods. Griff has a story of his own and his story quickly intertwines with Jess's story, creating a fateful night based on a chance encounter in the woods.

Author Jessaka Nastalski lives in Ocean View, Delaware with her four amazing children, dog, and cats. She is a Language Arts teacher, finishing her twenty-third year of public-school teaching in a variety of schools, districts and states. She loves to read and write, while practicing yoga and running in her spare time.
