Hands

Hands is about human touch, its presence, its absence, its conflicts with love and hate in a mix of feelings within the emotional distance of love and loathing. It is the author's view that through poetry readers and writers can discover a vast resource for personal pain relief. The poems in this volume are about pain; the feeling, questioning, fleeing, and ever-present encounters of the past with the present. Each section is a journey; flashbacks at what was, what might have been, and what might be. For readers, it's one person's journey in a coming-of-age struggle and search for awareness of oneself.
