Clancy is an adorable one-year-old Corgi whose life is perfect. He has all the toys, attention, and family love all to himself. Clancy has never had to share anything and is the baby of the house. The family decides that it’s time to get a new puppy, which means a baby brother for Clancy! Max the Husky is the exact opposite of Clancy and Clancy finds him to be very annoying. Max is wild and spontaneous, and makes a mess everywhere he goes. Clancy and Max have to learn to live together. It might not always be easy, but at the end of the day, they love each other and share some pretty funny adventures. Originally from Mexico, Blanca Maciel now resides with her family in Maryland. She has written several children’s books and plans to write more stories in the Max and Clancy series. My inspiration for this book came from my real life dogs, Clancy and Max. Every day they made me laugh with something they did and I always thought to myself about what they would sound like if they talked. From there the idea of the adventures of Clancy and Max evolved, and each story comes from a real experience I had with them with my own twist on it.
