This book tells the story of five generations of the Colford and Lipsett families, from their humble beginnings in Ireland, to their immigration unto the United States in the early parts of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Facts, as well as some thoughtful speculation about certain people, places, dates, and events have contributed to the fabric of this tale. Some family tree branches are clearer than others, yet the story remains as complete as possible, given the need to piece together some story lines from just some fragments of evidence.
