AAH! Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark

In this story, Connie Caban uses animated characters to dispel fear of the dark. Sophie Star, Manny Moon, and Ebony Sky bring comfort to Jared, who is afraid of the dark and doesn’t want to go to bed. She is a retired registered nurse. She lives in Florida with her husband, Ruben, and three adult sons. Her inspiration for writing children’s stories is driven by her personal experience while raising her family.
