Dr. Didier VAKOMBUA LUSUMBU LUA KANDA, was born in Boma, in the province of Bas - Congo, in Democratic Republic of Congo (ex Zaire). He is the son of Joseph Vakombua Zamela Tekadiomona, train engineer and big cattle breeder, and Helene Mabengi Buema, both Protestant Christians of the Baptist Community of Congo (CBCO). He was baptized at the age of 11 and raised in the strict respect for the biblical principles. He has participated as a singer, preacher and deacon in a Christian community. He made his primary, secondary and university studies respectively: to Lufu train station, to Matadi, in IME Kimpese, in Kisantu, in Kinshasa and in the United States. He is a specialist in clinical and surgical ophthalmology and in medical teaching. He worked respectively in Congo, in Gabon, in Cameroon, in Equatorial Guinea, and currently in the United States. Married in September 11th, 1999 to Matadi in the Democratic Republic of Congo and is the father of two children. He wrote his first book at the age of 20 entitled, Man’s behavior face has an unusual crowd. And has published poems, reflections, comic strips and today, this book- God’s Miracles in our Daily Life. Testimony is its future book.
