Our family inherited a trunk with documents, books, diaries, photos, rings and a pedigree chart, along with the traditionary story that we were the descendants of George Seton, 5th Earl of Winton, who escaped from the Tower of London. We also received the charge that we should prove our lineage to the world and never forget our heritage. In this compilation are original images with accompanying transcriptions of the documents initially collected with the intent of proving the descendancy of George Seton 5th Earl of Winton. They have been scanned, transcribed and indexed. We are thrilled to present this to the world to begin to illuminate the truth of our ancestry.
