Rolls and Lists of Connecticut Men in the Revolution, 1775-1783

This work consists of rolls and lists of Connecticut Continental Regiments, 1715-1776; organizations of the Connecticut Line,1777-1781 and 1781-1783; State Troops, 1775-1777; Militia Regiments, 1776-1782; Naval Record; Pensioners; Appendix; and an Index. Generally, the information is presented as rosters of regiments and companies, with personnel listed under their assigned unit. The information contained in these lists may vary, but contain the soldiers’ names, and may include date of entry, last campaign, period or time of service, rank, home town, and wages. Information in the Naval Record, like the soldier and militia lists, will also vary, but will often include sailors’ names, the name of the ship assigned, the name of the captain, date of entry, and date of discharge.
