About Gustave Dore
Born in France in 1832, Gustave Dore was considered an artistic genius at an early age who embarked on a lifetime career as a cartoonist, illustrator, painter, sculptor, and caricaturist. Wood engravings became his specialty, and he is widely known today for his breathtaking illustrations in popular books such as Milton’s Paradise Lost, Dante’s Inferno, and Dore’s London: A Pilgrimage. He died in 1883.

About the artist:
Born in Pittsburgh in 1975, Bussler is the founder of CGR Publishing, lead-restoration artist, and cover designer. He has written and illustrated more than 100 books, including Best of Gustave Dore Volume 1: Illustrations from History’s Most Versatile Artist, The Ultra Massive Video Game guidebook series, Magnum Skywolf, Ethel the Cyborg Ninja, Robot Kitten Factory, and the science fiction space manga, Omega Ronin (2021.)
