Encompassing Gender: Integrating International Studies and Women’s Studies

This is an anthology of more than forty essays by sixty scholars, many of them working in groups that cut across the humanities, the sciences, and the social sciences, all of them committed to an interdisciplinary approach to internationalising the curriculum. The volume includes essays, course syllabi, annotated bibliographies and videographies, as well as novel teaching strategies for a variety of international materials. The contributors take a fully integrated approach to this transformational work, recommending both theoretical perspectives and strategies for teaching in many different kinds of classrooms.
