Shuck

Told in first person, Shuck is the pseudo-memoir of a gay hustler who rises to the top of New York’s seedy gay underworld. But as his personal relationships crumble, his attempts to forge a literary career fail, and his drug use takes its toll, he tries to shuck his identity-to shed his skin, literally and figuratively-in order to find peace and happiness.
