River Apart

Jamie Shaw has always lived by the river. And on the other side, barely a mile away, is the home of his best friend Jared. Even though the St. Lawrence River borders the two countries, friends and families have visited back and forth for as long as anyone can remember. Until now.

Now their countries are at war. The young men find themselves enemies in a conflict neither understands, sworn reluctantly to defend their homes and families from invasion. As the war heats up, raids become battles and Jamie prays he’ll never come face to face with his best friend.
