Job On Trial: Rediscovering the Lessons of Job

It was a leap of faith on my part when I agreed to teach the Book of Job in our church’s Bible School. Then, somewhere in the midst of my studies, a chain reaction began to take place of newly revealed and illuminated truths that harmonized with the rest of Scripture. These truths were not unknown, nor do I claim exclusive knowledge of God or His Word, but the Book of Job shed light on truths in such a way as to provoke great excitement in me. I laughed; I cried; I rejoiced; I prayed in the Spirit; I worshipped and I felt like I could explode with joy to find someone and tell them, YOU’VE GOT TO READ THE BOOK OF JOB! IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE! DO YOU KNOW WHAT’S IN THAT BOOK?
Now I love the Book of Job! I love how Job endures through trial with his integrity still intact! I love how God reveals Himself in the end!
It inspires me, encourages me, and MOVES me!
