This book The Lost Lanes is a sequel to author’s first poetry book Poems of Life, published in 2016. As we grow older, our mind starts wandering often on those lost lanes, searching for those lost memories. Our body reaches first in old age and then the mind, because our mind always lingers back on old dwellings of the memories alongside the deep memory lanes, which are lost in the journey of time!

Often we cherish the little joys of the past–small achievements of that teenaged person, the fragrance of flowers by the side of old school, and so on.

At the last moment, our mind does not want to accept the demise of the body. It still wants to live further for children to reach sky-high and grandchildren to listen to their fairy tales!
