What Is Data Mining?

For people outside the tech industry, data mining and data analysis are often misunderstood processes. They’re more involved than simply retrieving data from a database and sorting through it. Readers will learn how and where data is stored, how we’re able to find patterns within this data, and how these patterns help us make predictions.
