Marry Up!

Ever talk to your inner self? Farmer Og, deathly afraid of intimate relationships, cannot bring himself to court the woman he loves. When Og admits the hallucination of seeing an elf, a passing psychiatrist tells him it is his inner child, and to listen to it. After the psychiatrist leaves, townspeople twist the psychiatrist’s advice for their own entertainment. Yet Og’s sincerity at wanting to change propels him through many misadventures. That is, until he turns the tables on the townspeople. On another level, this is also an allegory of healing through counseling.
