This charming book takes us on the voyage of a hug. The World’s Tiniest Hug tells a comforting tale, describing a playful hug creature which has the ability to travel invisibly - very useful when real hugging is impossible due to great distances or social distances. The cosy illustrations tell of the hug’s journey from giver to recipient with descriptions of how a hug feels and the way it skips about the world. A soothing story in rhyme making it perfect to share at bedtime, where it can become a focus for talking about love, separation and sharing.

A warming, wonderful tale and a book to keep for generations.

Readers of the Invisible String may enjoy this.

About the Author and Illustrator

A poem written for a little girl five years ago became transformed when Ursula asked her mother Sue to illustrate the verses. The creation of this book represents a story of creative partnership arising from a mother daughter relationship in circumstances when precious time spent together was impossible. When 100 miles might as well have been 10,000 miles.

Ursula Ambrose-Simpson has been a nanny for 10 years and trained in child psychotherapy at Cambridge University. She currently lives in London, England.

Sue Ambrose-Simpson is a retired primary school teacher living in Lincolnshire with her three dogs.
