This book takes place in a fictional time at a fictional place. The book is about a single body that follows under dual control. Shawn is a sweet and nearly innocent guy who only wants to be normal and not have to worry about someone else lurking around in the back of his mind. And then there's Jack, an angel of slaughter amongst the legions of demons that populate their planet. Jack is numb and has no problem doing whatever it is that he needs to do to get the job done. The book is about the snowball effect of hell that rains down on Jack and Shawn after a single night at what was supposed to be a party for the young and drunk.
