LGBT+ Issues in the United States: An Anthology

Informed by intersectionality theory and queer theory, LGBT+ Issues in the United States: An Anthology helps students develop a deeper understanding of how homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia, when compounded by racism, classism, ableism, or sexism, can result in the disempowerment of the LGBTQIA community in the United States.

The anthology features four distinct parts. The readings in Part I feature a social justice perspective, exposing students to d
