My own interest in writing blossomed slowly. In school, I struggled with history, and today it is one of my passions. I did not begin to enjoy writing until I wrote while sitting on the beach. I took a Creative Writing course in 2001. I was on my way.It is my desire to travel through scripture and pull out doctrine and be able to relate it in such a way that it is easy to relate to everyday living. This book can be read at your leisure in sections or separately. There are several sections, the first one is inspirational. My poems are best described by some of my poems. Some are of love, family, many are on the love of God, God’s love for us. They speak of God being but a breath away. Some will enlighten, encourage, and will cause you to ponder. There are words expressing life, others of pain and sorrow.An example of how I write. The other night I was watching a movie. The movie caused me to relate it to everyday life and to relate with the characters. When the movie was over, I was somewhat disappointed. However, I did come away with the ending of one of my other books.When I have writer’s block, I pray for inspiration, then I put the book away and soon I’m inspired to add the section that was needed. At times, I’ll wake up in the middle of the night with something to write. I always have paper and pen by my bed. At other times, it may be a conversation with someone. Mostly, when I read scripture or spend time in prayer words will flow, they take on a life of their own. I call it inspiration.
