Act Upon a Story: A Collection of Skits for Ministry

This collection of 60 skits was developed and used by the authors over the years that they were in full time ministry. These skits, which tell the stories of prominent Bible characters and significant Biblical events, are listed in the table of contents according to the chronology of the Bible. Most of these skits are planned to go with media presentations, such as PowerPoint slides. The authors worked to develop simplified skits which rely more on mime acting and a narrator in order to lessen the need for memorization, though some do require memorization. A large number of these skits could be used for both children and youth ministries. Some of these skits tell the complete story of the Bible characters while others could be used to reinforce the main story or teaching.
