I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full-John 10:10 (NIV). Charles believed this scripture and yet saw the disparity between the promise of a full life and the lives that many-if not most-Christians lived. When discussing this paradox with other Christians, he became convinced that we tended to over think the promises of God and make Christianity much more complex than God intended.
In his attempt to simplify the word of God, Charles became convinced that it simply takes knowledge of and belief in the five promised principles of God in order to live the full kingdom life God intends for his people. In this book, Charles shows the five principles and the overwhelming promises connected to them; he also warns of roadblocks which often prevent us from fully receiving all the Father has for us in Jesus-the one who can do infinitely more than all we can ask or imagine according to the power that is working among us (Eph. 3:20, NIV).
