This is the first work of poetry coming from a Liberian about the Liberian war. This collection, which mostly comprises sonnets, provides a poetic history of Liberia, specifically as regards the war, and the Ebola epidemic that is cause for concern. The book reflects the struggles Liberia has experienced since April 14, 1979. As Liberia evolves into a great nation, these experiences are simply challenges that shape people. Liberia will not only rise again but will become a better place for people to live peacefully and where justice and equity prevail. This is the focus of the collection.
