Rupert’s puppy Roly is so round and warm and soft and lovely that Rupert hasn’t the heart to be stern with him when he bounces about and behaves badly. But one day Rupert and Roly have to spend the day with Great Aunt Ada.

Here, they meet a parrot called Gordon and they both learn a trick or two! And surprise, surprise, Rupert enjoys his day and wants to pay another visit - because there are lots more interesting things to learn from his Great Aunt.
