The forest was once home to many Root Bears-bears with root beer floats for bodies, unable to do much beyond sitting and standing. Now only three remain; the rest have been hunted to the verge of extinction.

When one of the three surviving Root Bears discovers a map to the great Root Beer Tree, home of the Root Beer Fairy, he and his friends set off on a dangerous journey to reach safety. But the road to the tree, hidden in Junk Food Forest, takes them through a camp of deadly hunters. As the Root Bears face the horrors that have been inflicted on their people, they flee, hoping to make their way to freedom. Can they escape the dangers that face them and gain the Root Beer Fairy’s help?

This humorous tale, aimed at adult readers, follows the quest of three Root Bears as they seek to save themselves from extinction and avenge the deaths of their people.
