This detailed account of true education situations is what goes on in the urban classroom today. Education sucked through the tubes is an exhilarating and exacting series of events whereby the author submits instances of detailed events inside our public schools and why they are not working today. This author coming from the work environment and being signed on as a teacher later in life found riveting situations. Later promoted from teacher and coach to an assistant principal this author continued to try and help students and the district in which she worked to change and improve education, only to be curtailed, insulted and assaulted by students and parents alike. Her right retribution is to give strategies on how to truly improve the academic arena and to fully seek learning for our society.
