Gravitas for Leadership

This work deals with the need for present and aspiring leaders to be taken seriously by other people--the need for gravitas. If a person is not taken seriously by superiors and co-workers, they might be passed over for leadership positions. This book describes opinion and research about the most relevant aspects of gravitas as it applies to leadership. Each chapter contains suggestions for making better use of gravitas. One or two self-quizzes are provided in each chapter to help the reader personalize the major idea under consideration. Business leaders who demonstrate gravitas are presented as case studies.
