Published during the Great War from information gained by MI3b, a division of the British Directorate of Military Intelligence that covered Austro-Hungary and Switzerland, this is a detailed compilation of the types and varieties of Austro-Hungarian shell fuses which plagued the Italian front. It should be noted at the Battle of Caporetto in 1917, the Austro-Hungarians and Germans used, as part of a huge artillery barrage, chlorine-arsenic agent and diphosgene gas shells.
