In the fall of 2013, I went out on a national book tour promoting my first book, Outlaw Principles. As part of that tour, I did a number of suicide prevention talks. During these events, I met a lot of troubled individuals, and it reminded me just how much despair there is out there. This isn’t the case for everyone, of course, and I don’t want to speak only to those folks hanging on by their fingernails. I guess what I want you to know is that, regardless of the challenges you face, if you can shrug off the body blows that life dishes out and get up whenever you get knocked down, there is no fight you can’t win.
