While the owner of store is away on a business trip, his son is left to conduct store business. Although the credit is established, the loan is denied, As the story moves on, Mark Stevens and family meet a female veterinary by the name of Beth Kelly, to treat his son’s pet Chihuahua by the name of Chi-Chi. Quite naturally there is a physical attraction between the female vet and Mark, This is proven later when after an extensive search for mediation is not found. Of course the closest supplier is a fifty miles trip in darkness to the next town. Later the story involves around a villain by the name of George Hager, the giant and his confederates … and law-enforcement. The story also involves around Mark’s wife, Janet and Grandfather Kelly, his lawyer and the storeowners’ son Tom. Then there is Hager’s little brother Hans … also a giant. A few other government people such as FBI, IRS are involved. The local deputy plays a huge role throughout. The tension and excitement mounts until to there is a thrilling climax at the farm!
