We Can Use a Map

We Can Use a Map is aligned to the Common Core State Standards for English/Language Arts, addressing Literacy.RI.K.3 and Literacy.L.K.1. This book demonstrates the concepts of maps, map keys, directional cues, and how to use and draw a basic map. Readers are prompted to analyze and understand maps of a park, neighborhood, and zoo. This book should be paired with Carlos Reads a Map (9781448887163) from the Rosen Common Core Readers Program to provide the alternative point of view on the same topic.
